By Hume's Ghost
As Barbara noted below, it's now July and Glenn is back from his book tour, so I'd like to take a moment to thank Glenn for allowing me the opportunity to converse with his readers, and I'd also like to thank everyone who took the time to offer feedback, including those who didn't agree with me.
As I began writing the above, I was reminded of what A.L. wrote after his first guest-blogging stint. I don't believe I can put it any better than he did so I'll just say: ditto.

All of Hume's Ghost, Barbara O'Brien and A.L. were very fine choices as guest bloggers, and I greatly enjoyed their different but reasoned voices. Certainly I don't share Barbara's self-identification as a "progressive" but she makes a calm and intelligent case for every point she argues. Ditto for HG, who parses issues like treason and the NYT's publishing stories about classified programs with restraint, insight and balance.
ReplyDeleteAs for A.L., his legal acumen is obvious and in addition to this site, I have long been stopping to read at his blog when legal news is in the air.

ReplyDeleteWho's up for some laughs and a healthy new dose of conservative hypocrisy? First we re-hash some previously covered hypocrisy and so if you've read this already, try some of the newly found, yet still old, conservative hypocrisy.
Trust me. Seeing Faux News get ripped for exposing military strategeries is amusing, to say the least.
I've read everything you've posted Hume and I can see why Glenn chose you to be a fill in.
